RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT ARE ESSENTIAL
Research and development (R&D) is a crucial aspect of creating 3D animations and effects. While Blender is a powerful and versatile tool for creating stunning visual effects, it requires a deep understanding of the software's capabilities to achieve impressive results. Through research and development, we explore and experiment with various techniques and tools to push the limits of Blender's capabilities while seeking to create work that stands out from the crowd. The above renders are not meant to be polished or even finished, but are created in an effort to advance our understanding of what is and isn’t possible inside of Blender.
R&D is not just about experimenting with new techniques, but it’s also about staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in the industry. A lot of this work was done using Blender’s new Geometry Node System that revolutionizes the way artists can create and produce animations. By using a procedurally made system to control virtually every aspect of an object’s geometry and appearance Blender users are on the heels of having some of the capabilities only thought possible inside of SideFX Houdini’s advanced animation network. By constantly learning and evolving, we keep our skills sharp and are able produce high-quality work that meets the demands of clients and audiences. In conclusion, research and development is a critical part of the creative process for 3D animations and effects, and it is essential for artists who want to stay competitive and produce innovative and impressive work.
